This is a very large kokeshi of Date Masamune (伊達 政宗) an iconic daimyo of feudal Japan; also known as 独眼竜, one eyed dragon, he founded Sendai in 1601.
Condition: GUVC. (Good Used Vintage Condition). Please note that most of my items are pre-owned & vintage, so signs of age and wear should be expected, even if not described. This can include fading, darkening, staining, peeling, minor dents & scratches and floating wax.
Amatuer Inspection: There are a few tiny “holes” & blemishes throughout.
