Vintage from the 1920s
Description
An original vintage advertising piece for Moxie sodas dating to the 1920's or so. This "Moxie Base Ball Score" card disc has a unique design - one side features the "Drink Moxie" slogan, while the opposite side has a blank card for scoring a baseball game. This piece was also intended for use as a coaster while enjoying a Moxie beverage.
The disc is made of a medium weight card-stock and measures 3" in diameter. It is still in excellent condition for its age, showing minimal wear (see pics). The baseball score side is blank and unscored with no writing.
A very scarce piece of vintage baseball memorabilia - these coasters are seldom seen, especially with a blank/unused scoring section. Many of these were likely used/decarded in their day after being scored and used as coasters
