Rare 1927 edition of the Florida Roads & Resorts guide published by the Florida Times-Union newspaper in Jacksonville.. This is an incredible reference to roadside Florida in the late 1920s with detailed info on the road system at that time with gas stations, hotels, restaurants, etc. listed as well. This is 56 pages and measures 7.75 x 9 inches. This guide was published for several years in the 1920s and they are tough to find in good condition due to the thin paper covers and interior pages made of newsprint type paper. The cover art is fantastic. This item has fairly good covers, interior pages have the usual yellowing with some dog ears and tears and some pencil marks on page 3. While a delicate publication due to its age, it is a great tool for researching roadside Florida.
