For this listing, I am presenting a very rare 1935 menu from Jack Dempsey's restaurant in New York. This was the inaugural year the restaurant opened! This is oldest known example I've come across of a Dempsey Resturant Menu. Not only is this a rare, Dempsey menu, it is signed by the Heavyweight Champ himself! IIt is signed in pencil boldly on the front of the menu, it reads: Best Wishes, Jack Dempsey. this original location was located at 8th Avenue W 50th Street. it was there for 3 years when he moved the restaurant to the Broadway.
