Insulated Carrier for transporting ice cream to customers in the 1940s. It has a carrying strap and hinged lid. Made up of canvas and cork, steal and cotton webbing.
15 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" in diameter. Royal blue with stand-out white lettering. Great shape for its age, especially the inside. Some of the external graphics and blue fabric have faded. Stitching is coming loose on one side, metal parts are rusty and there are a few holes. Despite It's flaws, it's very hard to find this item in this good of shape.
This is a great piece of history as well as an attractive addition to your rural or country collection.
