Absolutely stunning Justin McCarty shirt dress in a bright striped tiki/Hawaiian patterned fabric
The shirt dress was created in 1947 by couture designer Christian Dior. This “New Look” as it was called took off and became very popular in the early 1950s.
This is the perfect iconic piece for your vintage collection
Iconic piece for any closet!
Four buttons for top closure along with a snap and hook’n eye closure at waist (possibly added later?)
The sleeves can be worn down or cuffed.
The fabric is light and soft and probably cotton.
The colors are still very bright and vibrant.
I’m devastated this dress is too small for me!
I would see this dress is a xxs or xs as the waist is a 24”
There is plenty of room if you’re busty though! ;)
