1960s Vintage Zeiss Pancolar 50mm 1.8 Zebra M42 German Lens, very nice clean copy (which is very difficult to find because seems like everyone in Eastern Europe selling these on eBay lies about the condition, I had to buy multiple versions before landing on one that was functional). Optics are nice and clear and focus and aperture work fine. This lens is M42 and can easily be adapted to just about any other modern camera system out there, Canon, Sony, Fuji, lumix, Nikon, etc. very sharp and kicks the crap out of most of these newer 50mm 1.8 lenses. Excellent rendering and bokeh as well. Can be used for portraits or environmental landscapes, street photography, etc. 50mm is just about the most versatile focal length and closest to how the human eye perceives the world.
Most of these old 50mm pancolar zebras have a yellowish tint due to deteriorating coating from being stored improperly. This one is clear and not yellow! It has stood the test of time and was well cared for. Please do n
