1980 Disease of the Supra-Renal Capsules, The Classics of Medicine Library

This is a Special Edition, Leather Bound Book containing an antique work from Thomas Addison, titled, "Diseasse of the Supra-Renal," originally published in 1855. This stunning volume offered today is a facsimile replication of the original first edition of this medically valuable text from approximately 175 years ago. This volume shows the text and illustrations in their original form, as seen in the First Edition in 1855.

This volume is very large, it measures 13.25" tall by 10" wide. It is in Near Mint condition with no notable flaws. It is bound in full, tooled genuine emerald green cowhide leather, with clean covers and sharp corners. The front cover and spine are stamped in 22kt gold, still bright and easily legible. It has a strong and secure binding with hinges that are firmly intact. Decorative raised bands are down the spine. No loose or missing pages. Inside, the book opens to marbled endpapers and a matching silk ribbon bookmark. Clean pages. A beautiful book!
