Rare! This is a very nice original 319th Glider Field Artillery Battalion 82nd Airborne Division DI. The DI is marked NS Meyer. (See 3rd photo.) This is a tough DI to find. The red background has a slight chip as shown in the photo. The other pin is in perfect condition.
Also included is this vintage Servabo Fidem pin. These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 33rd Field Artillery Regiment. Servabo Fidem is their motto and means "I Will Keep Faith." An inactive FA Regiment that first originated in 1918.
