Set of 4 vintage Portmeirion The Botanic Garden cups and saucers. According to a Portmeirion website, these backstamps, although dated 1972, are considered the 1982 crest backstamps. All are in used condition with signs of wear. The cups measure approximately 4 5/8" wide (including the handle), 3 1/4" wide at opening, and 2 5/8" high. The saucers measure approximately 6" wide x 3/4" high. Lot includes:
- Broom (Cytisus Scoparius). Yellow staining all around the bottom rim.
- Heartsease (Viola Tricolor). Small nick along bottom.
- Rhododendron (Lepidotum). Some staining along the bottom rim, and a tiny nick on the bottom that can only be seen when it's flipped over.
- Speedwell (Veronica Chamaedrys). One stain along bottom rim.
