Alice Hines(Americana, B. 1916-2009) Alice was born February 13, 1916, in Longview, Texas, the daughter of Franklin Hollister and Dora Birdwell Hollister. She was raised in Wills point, Texas where she attended public school. On July 7, 1935, she married Angus O. Hines in Wills point. Early in her life, she was employed by Rose dry goods in later, Mayfield dry goods in Wills point. She enjoyed folk art painting and quilting. Alice was a faithful member of the Wills point Church of Christ where she was active until her health failed.
