American Girl Felicity’s Summer Outfit

Felicity's Summer Outfit was introduced to Felicity's Collection in 1992. White cotton gown. Eyelet lace trim along cuffs and collar. Blue trim in the center of the lace on the cuffs. Three "growth tucks" at bottom of gown. Blue and white ribbon sash with a floral pattern of butterflies and garden nosegays. Pattern is in pink, green, yellow, and blue shades. Ribbon is cut at a diagonal angle. White lace cap. Main portion of cap is a lace pattern with small flowers and polka dots. A different, scalloped lace with larger flower and leaf patterns is used for a ruffle trim around the front of the cap. Wide-brimmed straw hat. Three pink faux flowers with green leaves on either side. A 1" blue ribbon is sewn across the top of the hat; ties behind doll's head. Green brocade slippers with a lighter green and pink pattern on the fabric. White metal eyelets with white ribbon strung through that is tied into a bow. Tagged Pleasant Company.
