Ancient ascending reindeer from the Tagar Culture.Modern day Mongolia.

Circa 7th century BCE to 1st century BCE Tagar Culture lived where modern day Mongolia and Siberia are. Extremely advanced at bronze work as well as many other attributes that kept them thriving thousands of years before the Great Genghis Khan was even thought of. Highly sophisticated and extremely adaptable they were extremely intelligent as seen through their art. This medallion is an ascending reindeer much like the Chinese had dragons and the Europeans had unicorns this deer was a very important and spiritual animal representation of ascension. The stone is a type of jadeite. This is only the second artifact I have ever owned and it deserves to go to a home that will give it the proper respect and care it deserves as a valuable piece of human history.
