A beautiful antique solid sterling silver etched floral compact. This early 1920's sterling piece features a wonderfully detailed etched floral pattern on the lid and a fine link pattern on the back. The interior includes a fully intact mirror and the original powder puff. Push button on interior lid opens to reveal a powder well. In fine antique condition (one minor crease across lid). 2 1/2" across. 2 oz in weight. Marked sterling ecco on inside lid.
Ecco is an abbreviation for Electric chain company of Canada. This company was in production from 1916 to 1950. They specialized in pretty pieces crafted from sterling silver or rolled gold.
