An absolutely stunning cut glass shallow dish tray cut by the Hunt Glass Co., of Corning N.Y. The pattern is their line called 'Royal', which was the only pattern to have a patent issued to the Hunt Glass Co. in 1911. Acid etch 'Hunt' mark on the base, which was used by the company starting in 1907. The blank for this pattern was made by the Union Glass Company.
A gorgeous piece of glass cutting history for the discerning collector.
Overall, good condition. Some chips around the rim, including one more significant flake chip. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
