Antique Edwardian 1910's Ostrich Feather 100% Wool by Slocum Straw Works Hat
Slocum Straw Works was located in Milwaukee Wisconsin, the company opened in 1909, making this one of their earliest hats. This hat is in excellent antique condition, no visible flaws. It was well kept in a time capsule home where the same family lived there for 140 years, the house was located in Staten Island NY. Made of 100% wool with real ostrich feathers. There is a tag inside that reads "23" I am guessing this is the size of the hat. I measured it myself and its more like 21" but there is a bit of stretch so if you are a 23 this should fit.
