Antique Hammered Copper and Brass Coal Scuttle Fireplace Decor
The body of the piece is made of copper that has been hammered over a mold into a tavern scene. The scoop, handle, and base plate are all brass. The entire piece has been hand soldered and hand riveted together, there is no factory machine manufacturing on the piece. This piece is well made and was intended for use, not just as a decorator piece. It has a beautiful old patina to it. Measures 19 3/4 inches tall and 10 and 1/2 inches wide at the base.
