This antique Harmony Volunteer Fire Department High Eagle Fireman Helmet is a true gem for collectors of historical memorabilia. Made in the United States, it showcases the craftsmanship of the past and represents the bravery of firefighters who risked their lives. It is in great condition for its age with the lettering on the helmet still being perfectly legible. It is from the Harmony Volunteer Fire Department In Pennsylvania. When it comes to damage, there are a few notable points. The bridge on the left side of the helmet is a bit torn up and is missing some metal. There are scratches throughout that come from normal wear. There is also a smudge of paint underneath on the fabric ( see photos). It was manufactured by Cairns & Brothers out of New York. The helmet measures about 14” x 11.5” x 8”.
