Rare vintage Effenbee 1940s Howdy Doody doll with the composition head and stuffed cloth body. Some cracking and paint loss on the head, but it is in very good condition considering its age. Some scratches on the tips of the fingers and back of the hands and a crack on the left hand. Please review the detailed pics carefully. All condition issues are documented. This doll has the more intact head and hands of all the listed ones being offered for sale right now. This is a wonderful old toy that is reminiscent of a more innocent time. Dose not have boots ,scarf or hat.I put in a reference photo of another one that does not have any clothes at all. No rips or tares. Made in 1940.
