The piece itself measures 35” by 24”. Most likely done on burlap. He presents very thick layering throughout the areas closest to the viewer. The damage is in the top middle section where there was a puncture and a few flakes of paint taken off. This was displayed at a local home of an affluent doctor for many years until I acquired it at his estate auction a few years back. Except for the small damage, it is a very nice original piece.
