An antique glass cake basket featuring a diamond block pattern. The sides of the basket have an elegant leaf etching just above the block pattern. The handle is pewter and the rim is etched with a similar leaf pattern. The stem is paneled and drops to a dainty but sturdy base.
Manufactured by Ripley & Co Glass known as Miscotte also known as Dominion or Minor Block. Dated to 1884.
There are a few bubbles in the glass from the manufacturing process and no scratches or cracks. Excellent condition.
