Patented in 1903, this ironing board is at home in any farmhouse, shabby chic, primitive, or industrial decor.
The piece is a compact tabletop size and features a flip up clamp.
The cast iron screw clamp (dated 1903) secures it onto a table or shelf.
The wood top flips up vertically.
The wood has many small pinholes from when fabric covered the board.
There is also patina, small cracks, and a notable knot hole on one edge.
The clamp is held to the board by different screws, , which may not be original. The screws are not held tight so there is a little wiggle.
The wood measures 20 1/4 inches long and 5 inches wide.
The screw clamp has a max gap of 1 3/8 inches.
