These collectible frog match boxes must have been a promotional gift when you bought a stove. The top opens up and holds match sticks. This could also be used as an ashtray or a paperweight. The frog's belly say's "Gohmann Bros and Kahler Co New Albany Ind". It's in vintage condition, I have not tried to clean or polish it, but it probably could be restored to original.
