I purchased this Mac Mini from an e-recycler. I wiped the outside, cleaned up the sticker residue, removed the previous profile, and reinstalled and updated a fresh installation of macOS Monterey to the latest supported version; 12.7.6.
NOTE: I removed the previous profile. If you reinstall the macOS you must remove the profile; I have the instructions and the process is straight forward on a 2014 Mac Mini. This Mac Mini was purchased from a licensed recycler; however, the previous owners did not wipe the Mac Mini before selling at an auction. You will not have to worry about the profile unless you decide to reinstall the macOS which is unnecessary as I have updated the Mac Mini to the latest supported macOS.
NOTE: Fast 250 SSD drive, and an i7 3.0GHz
Device: Is Not firmware locked and not iCloud locked, you can boot it up and sign in with your iCloud credentials.
