Early 20th Century Chinese Export Silver & Enameled Movable Turtle Pendant
Beautiful vintage pendant, and very unique! Fully articulated, the head, all legs, and tail move! Marked Silver, this unique piece is 1 7/8” from nose to tail, and tests silver.
An enameled articulated Turtle pendant, has an enamel shell and body, moveable head and legs and tail which move as the pendant is worn, legs, head and tail are all in magnificent green enamel, the underneath shell is done in a creamy tan, outer shell has a deep sea green and dark lapis blue enamel cloisonné back. If you missed it, I did also, one of the dark blue ‘dots’ is damaged. Original, not a reproduction.
