Vintage never used Botswana woven handmade basket in briwbsm black and cream.
This African basket is 10" diameter.
Artist titled the piece "face of zebra, tears of giraffe". In Botswana the giraffe is considered very sensitive and would rather cry than fight; thus the name for the piece.
Purchased from shop in Africa in the 2000s.
In like new condition since just displayed in a cabinet.
