A real piece of World War Two maritime History! And one you can now USE as it has been cleaned and lubed. Views from this nearly 80 year-old classic are superb despite typical cleaning marks, mostly on the objectives. This, despite the attached iconic warning label on the right prism cover. Comes with an aftermarket heavy duty carry strap and an issue HOOD rubber case in good shape. We fixed the back of the lid as shown using stainless steel screws. No carry strap.
Also added a set of rare Beck-Lee variable density filters that snap onto the oculars. Like a pair of sunglasses for your bino, they go from a medium green to a really dark shade for use when looking for enemy fighters coming out of the sun. One side has turned a little orange around the edges at deepest setting.
You could pay $250 JUST FOR A CLEANING!
These were the standard issue by which all other binos are compared and have gaskets beneath the one piece, Individual Focus (IF) Eye Pieces (EPs).
Perfect for boating.
