The DS works, in the hinges, there are some black chips of plastic that broke off, as shown in the pictures in 2 spots. One spot on the outside and one on the inside. The DS is not able to be set to an open position and stay. It has to be all the way open, not tilted if that makes sense. My son was able to play it just fine. The hinge to set somehow broke. Comes with a case, charger, 2 game cases, and a stylus that is Nintendo but won't clip all the way in the DS for storage.
