How it is made...
I'd like to start by saying I take pride in handmaking all of my work. No two pieces are alike. My pins are made with 100% rustic, Celtic copper. Once I recieve my copper, I put it thru a rigorous cleaning process (without harsh chemicals). I use a combination of modern technology mixed with elder blacksmithing. I forge the copper with scorching, red hot temperatures. I bend and mold the copper to a desired shape. After hammering and bending, I clean and polish my work. Because I do not use chemicals on my copper, it may turn a beautiful greenish color over time due to oxidation (this happens with 100% copper). If this happens, its easy to clean and polish. This piece is made slightly pliable for you to bend to suit your needs.
This piece is about 8 1\2 in tall by 5 in wide.
I never use plastic jems or beads. I mostly use crystal, glass or fresh water pearls.
