First edition, first printing oversized hardcover copy of Color: The Essence of You by Suzanne Caygill (Celestial Arts, 1980). Very rare color theory book which examines the role of color in personality, style and identity. Part philosophy, art, fashion, sociology and a wide variety of facets of life where color plays a role. Jacket protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Liquid damage to top edge of jacket and book itself, causing some discoloration and waviness. Boards somewhat bowed away from text block at fore edge and with corners bumped. A few instances of faintly split binding though spine is straight and binding remains firm on the whole. Other than liquid blemishes, all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
