You will love having this book in your collection! They are 2 sided so you can't use alcohol markers but Tombows work pretty well if you don't overlay colors a lot soaking the pages.

I've been able to use watercolor pencils lightly so I can get smooth full areas colored if I just do one layer at a time and put a piece of heavyweight paper in front and behind it when I put it away so the page doesn't get wrinkled when it dries it stays pretty flat. The pages also absorb extra moisture keeping it from bleeding through. I cut a piece of parchment to put behind those pages to permanently store.
