Stunning and extremely rare piece of fashion history! This is a handmade piece from the early 1900s, very delicate material, it's very see-through and breathable! Would have been worn with a spaghetti strap type silk dress under. Very light linen cotton, extremely delicate hook and clasps adorn the back of this dress to just past the rump. Frilled waistline and bottom. Due to the age of this dress it has turned the bit beige, and has a few tiny stains and very tiny hole, probably from a moth, as I have shown in the photos. This is from the Midwest, can you just picture a lady standing in a prairie wearing this beautiful dress in the Summer sun...that lady could be you! Size small - waist measures 11" laid flat. Absolutely gorgeous!
