This is an excellent copy of "North to the Orient" by Anne Morrow Lindberg-- the 1935 hardback edition, Eleventh Printing. While there is no dust jacket, the blue hardcover is in excellent condition as are the pages. Note that one front page has owner's name (pictured).

Winner of the inaugural National Book Award for Nonfiction. Within the first week of publication, 25,000 copies left stores.

American writer and plane pilot, Anne Morrow Lindbergh, depicts the 1931 flight (by her and her husband, Charles Lindbergh) from the United States to Japan and China, by the northern route over Canada, Alaska, and Siberia. Additionally, it documents their volunteering flights as relief efforts for the infamous Central China flood of 1931. Charles Lindbergh illustrated the maps for the book (pictured).
