The glass is acrylic, which means if you drop the frame the glass it's self is shatter proof, great to protect the art and if you have children or pets. This glass is also great for protecting the art over time, has a higher resistance to light then regular glass. It’s the most expensive framing glass you can purchase. Also, notice in the photos you can barely see a reflection. Has a high anti reflection, has to have direct light hitting it to see it reflect
The mat is a fabric backing that has a slight shimmer. I take a lot of time and care into the quality of framing, because it truely does enhance the art. Also buying it framed from me is by far cheaper as I don’t charge labor just cost on framing materials. I do have just prints for sale too, Ask me !
