After 30-plus years, the SV series Fuji Guides has been given new life as the LSV series. Offered as a Slim Concept “O” true, deep-pressed guide.

The Fuji LSVOG-S are Double-Foot, 3-Leg, medium duty, New Guide Concept (NGC) Slim Guides for stripper and/or running guide use. Sometimes used for added strength on traditional spinning rods.

The LSV Frame is a double-foot, three-leg model which has an attractive layout. These offer exceptional strength for heavy saltwater applications, yet downsizes perfectly for lighter freshwater rods. A high-quality yet economical choice for a wide variety of rods.

Fuji’s yesteryear production of Black finished guides and tops did not meet the current guidelines of Fuji’s “Sustainable Development Plan” which calls for more responsible care of the environment. The traditional Black has been discontinued in favor of the more environmentally friendly CC and BC treatments that produce only organic by-products. Any guide previously available in Black will now be available in the BC Dark Grey Finish. Stainless guides will now be CC Frosted Silver. Both the BC and CC are considered Corrosion Control frame colors.

The Corrosion Control treatment has seen substantial improvement over the past history releases. CC (Frosted Silver), BC (Dark Grey) and GM (Gunmetal) are now better than ever with improved resistance to saltwater corrosion in both laboratory and real world tests. BC also has much tighter color tolerances and is more consistent in color from lot to lot.
