The cover is matte green with gray undertones and pink flowers. The cover corners bend downward and there is a rubbed flower near the upper right cover corner. The backstrip cloth is heavily tanned or discolored. There is shelfwear and discoloration on the upper and lower backstrip. The gilt on the backstrip is bright. There are dark lines on the backstrip over the title. There are discoloration areas on the back cover. There is a penned name and tear in the paper on the endpapers. The first pre-title page is very heavily tanned. The frontispiece print is of Church of St. Cross. The full color prints have descriptive paragraphs on the tissue opposite. There are a few light foxing spots on the title page. There are heavy black ink spots on the second “Contents” page. There is a 0.5” foxing spot on page 45
