Hexagonal Marquetry Music Box Inlaid wood Blue Felt Liner Mirror Inside

This is a hexagonal marquetry box.
Marquetry is a decorative technique where pieces of materials like wood, shell, or ivory are inlaid into a wood veneer to create intricate patterns.
This particular box features a geometric, star-shaped design in the center, surrounded by contrasting wood and ivory-colored inlays.
The technique used to create such detailed patterns is an ancient woodworking art form. I picked this baby up in a thrift store and thought it was super cool. The fact that it was a music box with a cool tune sold it for me. I am not sure if the age but it’s in very good condition. it was missing a couple legs on the bottom, so I replaced the legs with purple push pins. It’s lifted so it can be winded Other than that the condition is very good. I didn’t really do much research on this item it does have some sort of stamp marking(manufacturer) similar items were priced all over the place. I must say this was def the nicest box I was able to find online + music box factor
