A superb Double Terminated Facet Grade Herkimer Diamond Floater from the Turtle Clan Mine just outside the town of Fonda, New York.
It is rare to pull them from the ground this nice. In fact this represents the best of the best in quality and clarity at this locality. Not much material from this mine has ever made it to the public market because one man owned the mine for 40 years and kept everything he found. So it is my honor and privilege to share with you a specimen from this nearly unheard of locality.
