Japanese Hand-Painted Watercolor Lamp

This little light is a hand-painted watercolor on handmade paper that is mounted to a wooden frame. The wood frame sits in a base and behind the frame is a small lightbulb that illuminates the painting. The painting is of red flowers with black and gray leaves, and it is stamped with the artists' name in the lower right corner in red. The paper has a few small pinholes that come from the nature of paper being made by hand and not from damage. Received in Japan about 2005. It's a sweet little light and painting. The painting and frame measure 6.25" x 6.25". Only had it displayed for a few months then was put away...in very good condition.
