This is an early Jim Shore Santa Claus figurine, marked JS on the back (no other markings except the little "c" for copyright and no labels), likely produced before his official licensing agreement with Enesco. This is a very rare one! The piece stands approximately 4 ¼ inches tall, 2" front to back and 2" left to right. Crafted from resin with hand-painted details in Jim Shore’s signature folk art style. Early Jim Shore pieces are harder to find and make a wonderful addition to any holiday collection. This Santa features a traditional red suit.
Condition:
Pre-owned and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Paint is excellent as well. I don't know if the early ones came with boxes or not, but this one does not have a box. Please see photos for exact details.
