There are very small manufacturers glue marks on the handles near where the handles meet the top of the bag. Also noted is some “weakness” in the handle on the back of the bag, specifically where the handle is attached to the bag. The handles are very much attached, they just appear to show a slight amount of stress on the edges of the handles at the point of attachment to the bag. See the photos.
