This isn’t just another copy of the KISS debut album — this is one of the rarest label/vinyl anomalies in the band’s history.
A verified transition error pressing:
The label lists “Kissin’ Time” (the 10-track version)
But the vinyl plays only 9 tracks — “Kissin’ Time” is NOT on the record
This happened during Casablanca’s 1974 transition to include “Kissin’ Time” as a late addition to boost airplay. A very small number of records were pressed with the updated 10-track labels but still used the original 9-track metal stampers from earlier runs. Most were caught and corrected — this one survived.
