Lee Riders 101 Japanese Selvedge Jeans - Size 33.

These are very rare Lee Rider 101 Jeans from Japan. I purchased these in Japan in 2018 and only wore them a few times. There are no strains, rips, or holes.

In the late 2010s, a Japanese denim maker bought the rights for a bunch of old Lee designs from the 1940's-1970's. They began recreating the old designs by hand and in small batches using selvedge denim. These jeans are from that limited run. In 2020 due to covid induced economic hardship, the small shop was forced to see to Edwin Jeans who continues to make Lee branded jeans albeit at a lower quality using non-selvedge denim. Unless you are able to track down a pair of Rider 101s from 1948 in a dusty attic somewhere, this is likely the only opportunity you will have to get your hands on a piece of Lee history that has been masterfully recreated to the original specs.

The waist is 33in and the length is 34in. For reference I wear a 32x32 in Levis 501s and these fit me great with a cuff at the bottom.
