An exquisite decorative enamel Trinket Box. A perfect gift for any occasion.
This particular piece "The Third Crusade" depicts scenes from the Crusade (1189-1192). It references the treaty between Saladin and Richard I (the Lionheart).
Lots of detail and beautiful colors in scenes from that time on the top and all around the sides of this enamel box.
Inside the lid describes the representation with a picture of a knight on a horse with his lance and shield.
A limited edition being #63 out of only 300 made.
Measures approx 1 5/8" in diameter and 1 5/8" in height.
Box is hinged.
Excellent condition. (Storage box does show typical wear).
Comes in original velvet lined storage box.
These beautiful pieces are made from Enamel and Copper using traditional craft techniques, hand crafted and manufactured in England.
