Mad TV (stylized as MADtv) is an American sketch comedy series created by David Salzman, Fax Bahr, and Adam Small, which debuted on Fox on October 14, 1995. Running for 14 seasons, the series concluded with its 326th episode on May 16, 2009. Loosely inspired by the humor magazine Mad, the show featured pre-taped satirical sketches that poked fun at pop culture, including parodies of movies, TV shows, music videos, and celebrities, with a touch of political satire.
