MANCIOLI Large Italian Pottery Horse Sculpture 1960's MCM, HTF/RARE*
This stunning, eye-catching and robust horse sculpture with bright green and black incised flowers and vines
was created by Mancioli for Raymor, Florence in the 1960's.
Skillfully crafted and hand painted with an overall glossy white background to the whimsical floral pattern.
It is in overall great condition given its age, however there is a chip at the bottom of one hoof
and a tiny circular mark on one ear tip.
The tiny imperfections hardly take away from the details of proportion, large feet, short tail, wide rump and soft eyes.
A portion of the original tag is attached to underbelly indicating handmade in Italy.
It would make a beautiful entry way, coffee table, bookshelf or office piece
for any collector of Italian pottery or horse lover.
