"Matko Trebotic was born on 13th January 1935 in Milna on the island of Brac. He attended primary school in Milna and Split. He graduated in architecture at Belgrade University in 1961. During the 1971 and 1972 he studied, as a Meisterschuller, at the famous Volkwangschule (Prof. Hermann Schardt) in Essen. He exhibits intensively since the 1970. Richness and peculiarity of artistic impulse made him recognized all over Europe and the world, where he held around a hundred solo and two hundred and fifty group exhibitions. He lived and worked in Split"
