Mens SEIKO vintage 1974 Deluxe Day/Date mechanical set & Autowind 17jewel 6106

This is a vintage men's Seiko mechanical set and auto wind from 1974. It starts with a heavy four level case that has a gold finish in a round to Tonneau shape with a center diameter of 37/38mm. The raised crystal is perfect and protects a beautiful radiant sunburst dial of gold to brown radiance. The dial has tall golden markers with a day/date window at the 3. The movement, the 6106 was a workhorse of the 60/70-'s and featured 17 jewel robust no plastic construction with balance shock protection along with a hacking feature. The case has an integrated 'oyster' style with a Z-deployment clasp. It fits up to 8" wrist snuggly and has been cleaned and serviced in the past year. Even though it has some very minor flaws when on the wrist it looks new.
