The Onitsuka Tiger Mexico ‘66 “Cream/Velvet Pine” is a versatile and classic-looking colorway of the retro sneaker by the Japanese shoe brand. The Onitsuka Tiger Mexico ‘66 debuted as a performance running shoe in 1966 for the trials for the Mexico City summer olympics in 1968, and through the years it has become a popular casual shoe. The modern iteration of the model is largely similar to the original edition, but is made with contemporary materials and colors. This “Cream/Velvet Pine” colorway has a cream white leather construction with dark teal tiger stripes on the sides. Classic “Onitsuka Tiger” branding is found on the tongue tag.
