Mickey’s Service Station Mickey and Goofy Reproduction Cel and Printed Background (Walt Disney, 1935). In one of his very last black and white cartoons, Mickey, along with Goofy and Donald, do their best to find a squeaking sound in Pete’s roadster. Naturally, they take the car apart looking for the source of the annoying sound (turns out to be a cricket)! A very funny short, long considered one of Mickey’s best, this Ben Sharpsteen-directed cartoon enlisted the help of Disney legends Milt Kahl, Art Babbitt, Jack Kinney, Bill Tytla, Eric Larson, Ferdinand Hovarth, and Wollie Reitherman, with voices by Clarence “Ducky” Nash, Pinto Colvig, and even Walt Disney himself (as Mickey, of course).
This is an original hand-inked and painted reproduction duralar cel of Mickey and Goofy, with Pete’s car, placed over a printed copy of a Master hand-painted background from the film.
